Barceló Palmeraie Oasis Resort
We recommend staying at Barceló Palmeraie, a beautiful resort set within Marrakech’s iconic Palm Grove. Surrounded by lush gardens and views of the Atlas Mountains, the property blends Moroccan charm with modern comfort. Guests can enjoy serene pools and a luxury spa, and even the resort’s Palmeraie Oasis Camp for a unique desert experience.
The resort is located just a 5-minute drive from our wedding venue, Ksar Char-Bagh. Shuttles will be provided to and from each wedding event for all guests staying here.
Use Group Code NATASHA to book a Deluxe Room (the resort’s standard room) with a discount. Please note that the code must be entered in the Group or Event Code field, not the promo code area.
If you prefer to book a larger room or suite, do not use the group code, as standard rates apply for those categories.
Room rates vary depending on single vs double occupancy. Breakfast is included for all guests. Please make sure to book before the code expires on 2/2/2026, as any reservations made afterward will be at regular pricing.
Ksar Char Bagh
A limited number of suites are available for guests who wish to stay directly at the wedding venue, Ksar Char-Bagh. This award-winning Relais & Châteaux property is one of Marrakech’s most luxurious retreats. Each suite is designed with Moroccan craftsmanship and understated elegance, offering a private and indulgent escape.
Some suites feature private gardens or pools, creating a truly exclusive experience. Breakfast is included for all guests, and one of the greatest perks is being just steps away from every wedding event with no travel required.

About Marrakech, Morocco
For many guests, this may be a first visit to Morocco. Marrakech is vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy. Below are a few practical considerations that will help make the experience smooth and enjoyable.
Luggage – Consider placing an AirTag or similar tracker in your suitcase for peace of mind during international travel.
Attire – Marrakech is cosmopolitan yet traditional. Lightweight clothing that covers shoulders and knees is recommended when exploring cultural sites. Resorts and high-end venues allow for more flexibility.
Currency – The Moroccan dirham (MAD) is the local currency. Cash is widely used, especially in markets and smaller shops. Carrying small bills is useful for shopping and gratuities.
Transportation – Many areas within the medina are best explored on foot. For longer distances, use official taxis or arrange transportation through your hotel or riad. Uber and Lyft are not available.
Shopping – Bargaining in the souks is customary.
Language – Arabic and French are most commonly spoken, though English is widely understood in tourist areas.
Health & Hydration – Tap water is not recommended for drinking. Bottled water is widely available, and staying hydrated is essential in the warm, dry climate.
Safety – Marrakech is considered safe for visitors. Exercise awareness in crowded areas, safeguard your belongings, and avoid engaging with unofficial guides.
Cultural & Historical Highlights
Jemaa el-Fnaa – The city’s central square, renowned for its evening atmosphere with food stalls, performers, and lively crowds.
The Medina & Souks – A maze of narrow streets filled with clothing, accessories, spices, and textiles.
Majorelle Garden & Yves Saint Laurent Museum – A serene botanical garden with striking cobalt blue architecture, with the famous YSL Museum.
Bahia Palace – A 19th-century palace noted for its intricate tilework and lush courtyards.
Le Jardin Secret – A beautifully restored riad garden offering a peaceful contrast to the bustle of the medina.
Madrasa Ben Youssef – A beautifully restored 14th-century Islamic college, admired for its detailed stucco, wood carvings, and tranquil courtyard.
